Democracy Drop Troopers at Adepticon 2026

Adepticon is once again descending on Milwaukee this year, and Final Stand Games is making the trek from Kentucky to the frozen north to host a series of demo events. We’ll be running steady Learn to Play sessions for Democracy Drop Troopers throughout the weekend, giving players a chance to sit down, try a mission, and get a feel for the game’s pace and style.

Are you ready to “dive” into the “hell” and chaos of the war for managed democracy? Join us at Adepticon 2026 for Democracy Drop Troopers Learn to Play sessions. This is your chance to experience an unreleased tabletop adaptation of a hit co-op video game in a fast-paced, cinematic battlefield format.

Whether you’re a veteran of video games or new to the universe, these sessions will teach you the basics of movement, combat, stratagems, and heroic teamwork all in under an hour.

You can catch our Learn to Play demos every morning on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We start a fresh session at the bottom of each hour.

What You’ll Learn

Our Learn to Play event gives new recruits a chance to step into the world of Democracy Drop Troopers and experience how the game works. Our Democracy Officers will guide new players through the core rules and flow of play to jump in and start rolling dice.

All materials provided, just bring your patriotic energy to the table. Depending on the day’s events, your squad will be liberating a bug or bot world from tyranny.

What To Expect

Each session runs about an hour with pre‑built squads and a guided walkthrough. You’ll learn the basics, roll some dice, and get a feel for the game’s pace without needing any prior experience.

We’ve missed the preregistration deadline, and the events aren’t listed in the official Adepticon event catalogue… HOWEVER, you can still preregister directly with us to play! Use the form below pre-register for a session or come by the game tables in the Baird Ballroom and sign up in person.

Please select all available slots you can attend, and we’ll try to get you a reservation in one of your slots or add you to the alternate/waiting list.

Walk‑ups are always welcome.

When is Adepticon 2026?

Adepticon runs March 25 through March 29 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The main vendor hall is operating 10 AM – 6 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM on Sunday. Games will run from early 6:00 am every morning till after midnight (open gaming is open till 4 a.m.) every night.

Where is Adepticon 2026?

The show is at the Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee. If you have been in the past, it is a very different feel from Schaumburg, but in a good way. It’s a great location with easy access, and the convention center is surrounded by walkable options for hotels, food, and parking.

How much is it

All of our Learn to Play events are 100% FREE with your Adepticon Badge! In fact, the event will cost you negative Super Credits because everyone who plays a demo will receive a free Drop Trooper mini (while supplies last…first 100 players)

📍 Location: Where to go at the Convention Center

Put on your hiking boots. We are on the 4th floor in the Baird Ballroom. It’s a little hard to find. Do not go to the 4th floor of the main building. You have to go across the center on floor 2 or 3 and then go up to 4.

How to reach the Baird Ballroom

1. Enter the Baird Center main lobby.
2. Go to floor 2 or 3.
3. Cross the skybridge to the far side of the building.
4. Take the elevators up to floor 4 (mostly go left when exiting)
5. Look for the Baird Ballroom signage. The entrance is around the corner, past the Baird Sky View Terrace

The Baird Ballroom is on the total opposite side of the main entrance of the convention center.
